Bio

I’m a resident psychiatrist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City who treats patients of all ages and psychiatric conditions using psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. My research focuses on immigrants and incarcerated individuals in the United States, and my clinical interests include psychosis and trauma. As a volunteer, I also supervise medical students at the East Harlem Health Outreach Program psychiatric clinic and perform asylum seeker evaluations at the Mount Sinai Human Rights Program. In caring for patients and teaching students, my ethical framework is to further justice and prevent harm.
