Evaluating Standards for Clinical Evaluation of Patients Under Arrest in New York City CPEPs. November 2024 to December 2025. I interviewed several physicians from New York City Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Programs to elucidate the process for clinical evaluation of patients under arrest. The interviews informed an issue paper detailing the current practices, as well as recommendations for ethical standards of practice.
A Digital Mental Health Intervention for American Muslim Immigrants and First-Generationers. February 2022 to May 2023. As principal investigator of this project, I designed a community intervention and survey-based assessment for prevention of suicide among Muslim American immigrant young adults.
Refugees in Harrisburg During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Public Health Challenges and Lessons: January 2021 to October 2022. This was a qualitative analysis I performed of community programs for public health and food insecurity among refugees in the Harrisburg area during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
